Assalamualaikum, how are you, I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. I am bringing you a new post. I hope everyone likes it.

This tree is the Kalamegh tree (scientific name: Andrographis paniculata). In Bengali, it is also known as Kalamegh, Chirta Kalamegh, Bhuichirta or Helpata. It is a type of herbal medicinal plant. The height of this tree is usually 30-120 centimeters. The leaves of this tree are long, green, shiny, and the edges are smooth.
The flowers of this tree are small, yellowish in color, with four or five petals. The taste of this tree is very bitter.

Andrographis paniculata

It is found in many Asian countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Myanmar.
Especially in rural areas, it grows naturally on the roadside, next to the land, in bamboo bushes or bushes.

Kalamegh has been used in Ayurveda, Unani and folk medicine for many centuries. Its main properties are to increase immunity. It eliminates digestive problems.
Increases appetite. Helps reduce constipation. Cleanses the liver. Used in the treatment of jaundice and hepatitis. Helpful in preventing viruses and bacteria. Reduces cold, cough and flu. Helps in controlling blood sugar levels. Leaf juice is used in skin diseases, boils, wounds, etc.

Consume it regularly in small doses to increase immunity. Drink a little leaf juice on an empty stomach in the morning.
It is dried and powdered and consumed with water. The juice of the leaves is consumed as medicine. Its taste is very bitter, so it should not be consumed in large quantities.
