Up Close With An Ash Throated Tanager
To the best of my abilities I have tagged this as an Ash Throated Tanager. There are a multitude of similar coloured birds here in Costa Rica so even with a very good bird book at my disposal, identification of some small yellow birds can be tricky.
This was taken using my Canon PowerShot SX60 HS

Wow, what a blessing. I only spent some two weeks in this fascinating country but I was totally stunned by the nature and wildlife. Easily the most beautiful country I have ever visited. Enjoy your Costa Rican life. Pura Vida :)
