Everyone in this world loves raining and wants to be walk with their loved ones . During summer season it's just awesome to walk in rain .
How rain occurs?
When moist air cools and condensation occurs , since warm air hold more water than cool air , when the warmed air cooled then moisture condensed to liquid . So rain occurs .

What causes smell after rain ?
There are three primary sources that cause smell after rain:
First , clean smell in particular after a thunderstorm caused by ozone. The smell very similar to that of chlorine . This is very harmful for humans they can destroy lungs . Clean smell , pure ozone is dangerous and is relatively high concentrations, it can destroy cells in lungs .
second , pleasant smell is due to a deep , earthy smell which is strongly after a dry spell .
This smell is the result of bacteria found in the soil.Third, the smell after rain is caused due to oils secreted by various plants.
These oils collect in the environment and, when it rains, certain chemicals that make up the oils get released into the atmosphere causing a familiar and inviting scent.
Experiment by Bear and Thomas
In 1964, Bear and Thomas set about discovering what caused the distinctive rain smell by drying clay and extracting and analysing the oils they found therein. They eventually stumbled upon "an oily yellow material" that smelled a bit like it smells after rain. Fun fact, it was Bear and Thomas who coined the term, "petrichor" (The pleasant smell that accompanies the first rain after a dry spell) purely so they had a word for it. It comes from the Greek "petros," meaning "stone," and "ichor," the golden blood of the gods in Greek mythology.
When tested, it was found that this oily substance stunts the growth of some plants, leading researchers to surmise that its purpose is to stop plants from releasing seeds in non-ideal, overly dry conditions.
