When we talk about what we like to do in our leisure time, we are talking about those things we love doing in our free time to enjoy and relax. Therefore in this post, I will be sharing those things I prefer doing in my leisure time from the list of options provided.
Reading a book or listening to music? |

I love both and I have found a way to combine both for my pleasure instead of picking one over the other. The thing is reading can be a bit dull sometimes, especially when reading for long hours without anything else to keep us engaged, this is why I like to mix things up by listening to music while I read to help me stay awake and also add an extra enjoyment to the experience.

One good thing about music is that it is easygoing with anything be it chores, laundry or reading. I just pick any tune that I enjoy that matches the vibe of what I am reading from relaxing melodies to upbeat tunes, as long as it keeps me focused and enjoy my reading time without any dull moments. Music makes my leisure time and reading enjoyable and stop me from sleeping.
Social media, using Instagram or Facebook? |

Unfortunately, the social media I like to use during my leisure time is not presented in the options given, but if you will let me add that option it would be Steemit.
I spend most of my leisure time on Steemit as I don't have a Facebook or Instagram account due to personal and privacy reasons, but I have come to find a wonderful community on Steemit where I can connect with like-minded individuals, share ideas, learn and earn incentives for it.
This is why Steemit has become a big part of my leisure time and life, as it allows me to share my thoughts and connect with a community that rewards my engagement.
A movie Night with friends or family? Why? |

This one is tricky, but I will choose to have a movie night with my family over a movie night with friends. There is something special about sharing a movie night with family because it is a time when we can all come together, enjoy the movie and share laughter, excitement, and experience which helps to create a bond that is hard to replicate with friends.

When I think about having a movie night with my family, I imagine cosy moments in our living room filled with the warmth of being surrounded by the people I love sharing snacks and having those little jokes that only we understand.
Don't get me wrong, a movie night with friends can also be fun, but never as with family as there is something about family movie nights that just feels different. It is more than just watching a movie together but about creating memories and strengthening our family bonds.

As much I love pets to the point we currently have a parrot at our front door, and had dogs in the past, I don't think I'm ready the have another dog anytime soon as I get too emotional with their passing to the afterlife as it happened with the few we have kept laser strength for constant cleaning of their poops. For this reason, I will prefer spending time in the lap of nature.

When I spend time in nature, be it at a park or in my backyard, I feel connected to the world around me and it serves as a time for me to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the simple pleasures of nature and doing this has a way of calming my mind.

You do beautiful things at your leisure time. A movie night with family is truly more than just a movie, there is more to it. I get connected more when watching a movie with family. Listening to music while I do my chores is what I do most times because it allows me the opportunity to to flow freely to the rhythm and have my work done just as fast as possible. Does this parrot talk? Or still undergoing training process... All the best!

You're right, in today's world, it seems like everyone uses these social media platforms. But you know what? I actually like that I'm not on them. It's nice to be away from all the noise and distractions sometimes.

Leisure time is never to be wasted, from your post I can see you make good use of your leisure time. The things you do in your leisure time is commendable it all resembles what I do in my leisure time too.

Yes you are right music is really easygoing with anything music is our best companion especially when we are traveling somewhere far away. There are only two social media platforms mentioned here, I'm curious about which platform you use the most which are not given in the option?
I totally agree with you that movie night is only fun with family. Because we are very comfortable with family And it also happens that sometimes there is a scene in the movie that we keep laughing for a long time.
