The Diary Game June 9, 2024 // Spending time shopping with family
Assalamualaikum all stemian friends, how are you? May you all always find happiness and ease as well as forgiveness from all the mistakes we make, whether intentionally or not.
This morning at 08:00 I had breakfast with lontong noodles at my regular place in Ulee Reuleng, of course I enjoyed it with my family, my husband and daughter who are always near me and faithfully accompany me 24 hours a day and we are happy to be able to spend time together in things big and small.
"Because happiness starts from the smallest things." After breakfast we went straight to Krueng Geukuh town, we wanted to shop for some clothes for my husband and myself.
I bought one black rectangular hijab, one maroon and another long hijab to go to the weekly Koran at Menasah. Recitations in my village are held once a week every Friday for all women, both young and old, and recitations for men are held on Mondays every week.
Women are required to wear wide, loose clothing that does not shape the curves of the body and are required to wear a long headscarf. Therefore, I bought a wide and long headscarf for this special event, and not only because of the recital, I always wear a headscarf every day because it is my obligation as a Muslim woman.
After buying my hijab, we went to a men's clothing store to buy my husband's shirt and trousers, we went from one store to another because there weren't many models he liked, finally at the last store he chose two short-sleeved shirts in the same color. different, namely maroon and army colors.
He also bought two pairs of jeans in two different colors, namely mocha and denim. After trying it on and finding it suitable, we immediately made a payment transaction and left the shop.
I also stopped briefly at a children's toy shop, if we go to Krueng Geukuh town it is obligatory to buy toys for my daughter, otherwise she will cry all day and not want anything🙄.
Until midday, we were still in Krueng Geukuh town, we felt hungry and stopped at a food stall to order food. I ordered rice and a side dish of pepes fish while my husband ordered white rice with plik sauce and grilled milkfish. We enjoyed it without any leftovers😄.
In the afternoon, my daughter and I were just at home, I accompanied her to sleep in her room and read sholawat and hijaiyah letters and taught her some numbers and letters. He was so happy that he finally fell asleep and woke up almost at dusk.
In the evening after we had eaten our dinner, my husband and I spent a lot of time telling stories in front of the house for more than two hours. We didn't realize we had been talking for so long until my daughter in my lap fell asleep on her own. I ended our long conversation and took my daughter into the room.
I asked my husband to sleep and he complied. We went into the room and rested comfortably and warmly.
