So I've Been Spending Some Time Over at Smoke.IO - Earnings Seem Decent Worth Giving a Try
Hey guys, so first off, don't worry, I'm not going anywhere, I'm here on Steemit to stay.
That said I heard the other day from @brianphobos about this new blockchain decentralized crypto based social media site called Smoke.IO. I blogged about it the other day and how I signed up.
Pretty quickly I got accepted and my account opened. I've been making some posts over there the past couple days. It started off kinda slow. In all honestly there's not many people on there. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the platform has only been around about 10 days, maybe two weeks tops, at least that's what I'd heard.
I notice when I look at new posts and then go back an hour or two later there's not too much content which tells me the platform is still new and growing. While some may look at this as a negative thing, think about if you got on Steemit back in 2016 and got a head start on everyone else, how much bigger would your account be.
I had one post make a little over $3. Most other posts are a few cents. I finally made my introduction post the other day and as we know from Steemit introduction posts tend to do really well because people really wanna give others a warm welcome to the platform. My introduction post made about $30.
I think if I keep up with this the earnings could be decent and I could potentially get an early foothold on this platform. While people blog about all types of stuff the site is mainly focused on weed. Really good platform if you're a grower, a smoker, or work in the marijuana industry.
The site still seems a bit glitchy, I have had some issues getting photos to upload onto the platform. To my knowledge there's not yet really any apps like Steepshot or DTube like we have for Steemit but I imagine that will be comming as the platform grows. There is going to be some type of ambassador program which it think could be interesting.
Anyhow, just wanted to follow up on my experience of the platform a couple days in.
Hmmmm. 🤔 They just keep popping up now. 😂 Pretty soon we'll have lots of social media crypto sites to earn from.

Cool. Are you sure you made $3 and $30? From your screenshot, it doesn't say $. It might mean the amount of their token and not a USD value.

i'm still deciding if it's for me..
i just wish it was different in the execution... it's not really any different than steemit and while that's not bad, it's not good either.... With all the creative juices that come with cannabis.. couldn't they do something a little different?
