ABSTRACT . small painting 2018.
17x45cm mixed media. Ibiza 2018
This is one of my latest small pieces I finished.
I love making the smaller ones also that I can view quicker.
This labyrinth created by two elements that try mix but cant´t integrate homogeneously is a representation of things I feel.
Best Wishes,
Romanie

I'm still staring at this. Incredible. Is this oil and water or two other non-homogeneous "elements"?
The initial effect is created with acrylic paint being repelled by alcohol and then once it´s dry I worked in oils to define and paint the different parts.

Thank you!
Many things can be gotten out from this, it's so cool and captive that you can't stop staring at it and getting more figures from it! Awesome!

What an interesting piece! I really like the colors and it is the kind of thing that you can look at for a long time and see so many different things.
