Calm Evening on the River Severn
Yesterday was a day out! We went to Severn Beach and then decided to head to Clevedon. I have seen a nice picture of the pier and really wished to see it for myself plus the sunset! Well, the view of the pier - amazing but for another post. However, the sun was setting into the thick blue clouds and there was no dramatic sunset I was really hoping for...
Never the less, I was patiently waiting for the sky to get darker and get some long exposure shots. And yet again, my battery has failed me! 😭 Just as I have started to enjoy the process I have exhausted the resources and had to wrap up for the day! I forgot to charge the battery as usual! But this shot below was one of the last ones I have taken. The tripod was a little bit wobbly because the ground was so uneven. I was actually really afraid to slip there and get into the water!

Clevedon was the first place I drove to after buying my first car! I've got a nice picture of my dad and I standing beside it.

I was so impressed with Clevedon that feel I have to go back and explore more! Shame, it takes 1h 40min to get to that part of the UK 😢
There's a fun outdoor pool in Portishead your son might enjoy, if you go back in the summer months. Assuming they've not turned it into houses of course! 😊

I have been there as well! But years earlier! A very nice small city with interesting buildings! I especially liked the hotel near the shore! Fantastic!
