The Secret Surprise Contest
Although rather new to steemit, I have noticed an abundance of contests around here.
There are some really interesting ones and those who run them put a lot of time and effort into their projects and are often quite generous towards the participants!
I may well be wrong, but a welcome side effect might be some extra exposure, as resteeming appears to be a condition for participation in most of them. So, to add a little twist to it all, today I founded my "Reinhard Schmid Secret Surprise Contest"!
The rules are simple: there aren't any and I change the conditions to win randomly and at will :-)
The contest isn't really published anywhere, thus being more or less secret, no resteem required, no action solicited, and I decide a winner out of the blue for different reasons. The prizes will change at random, but in this digital world of crypto thingies beyond my simple mind, I'll mostly give something "real".
Today's winner is Mr. @Sean-King for giving me the biggest total upvote since I joined! A big and honest thank you Sir!
Today's award is a hand signed, limited edition print of "LadySkates". To claim your award... hm well, not so simple, isn't it? I'd need a shipping address (P.O. box is fine), but I don't want to get a bunch of messages or emails from some... ahm... smarties, claiming they are the winner. Any suggestions?

Does one login with the steemit username/password?
no you make a new user and more importantly a new password. the one you use for steemit is only for steemit. but as vermillionfox wrote most people use the same username

I mean, it's such a nice gift: charming high-heeled shoes. I like the picture and I myself like high heels :) And the idea is very good also - an unexpected gift is always pleasant. In other words I referring to both: the print and the idea:)
Thank you for your kind words and for making this clear! I find it amazing, that there seem to be quite a few people, who like high heels, but there is hardly any content about it.
Planing to build the High Heel Walk of fame in my house... maybe I should build a related gallery here too... or a contest ;-)

The High Heel Walk of fame...? I want to hear more about this! A gallery of your art depicting high heels, or photos of women who wear them best, or shelving to display your favorite high heels (I'm working on this one myself), or a walk way for women in high heels to prance up and down?
What a set of wonderful ideas! Actually, I have been thinking of all of them in one way or another.
A gallery with high heel related art has been on my mind for a long time... not only my work, but any art that involves a tasteful presence of high heels. Actually, there is a dutch online shoe museum and a few years back, they featured my work, like this one
Since this is more or less on my page, its ok to add a picture, right?
Have to find a link to the museum, I'm sure you'd enjoy a (virtual) stroll through their collection
I'm also working on a "real" sort of small high heel museum, new and worn... accepting donations (wink wink)
The High Heels walk of Fame is just another one of my sometimes crazy ideas. We have this... don't know the exact word for it.. inner courtyard? A 12ft by 30ft space between buildings. I just had it redone and there is this path leading from one end to the other. I had 19 1x2ft granite tiles set in this path and the plan is, to feature some ladies with their high heels... still very much at the idea state.
First I'll have to find a way to choose or have the winners voted on somehow. Then some technical questions will have to be resolved, like how can one apply a lasting foot... ahm... shoe print to the stone tiles. A photo of the Lady with her high heels on will have to be added too somewhere...
will take a while ;-)
Also been thinking of having an fb group about the subject... not there much anymore though ;-) Wonder, what I could do here... problem is to keep it elegant and tasteful and to keep this subject with its undoubted erotic touch from getting overly sexualized.
I know someone around here, who keeps this balance quite well 😉

Who knows ;-) But you'll have to set a record at something... whatever I'll decide that to be. Could also be, that the winner is a person, who liked a post first or last or left a comment on a particular day, all kinds of options... it will be a surprise. Of course :-)
