You may be richer than me,
but you will never be free like me

Hello.

The city I'm going to introduce today is 'Poprad'.

Poprad is the base camp city for visiting to the 'Tatry Mountains', which is borders between Slovakia and Poland, and is a beautiful natural city that connects northern Slovakia with the large eastern city 'Kosice'.

After sleeping at the couch-surfing host Juraj's house, I woke up in the morning with warm sunlight. Juraj cut a western pear and told me to eat it on the balcony. Huh? I was wondering why, but there was a mat on the balcony for sitting, and in front of me was an apartment landscape that was hard to see in Korea.

It was a landscape that we couldn't see in our country. In Korea, apartments were built so tightly that they were blocked from the sky and the surrounding area, but Poprad saw a large field next to the apartment. And the apartment I saw in front of me looked even more special because it was painted in colorful colors in each flat.

Juraj led me to the roof of the apartment building. The view from the top was even better. Look at that open green field. I think it's an apartment where can really feel nature.

When we came back home, I was writing a diary, and Juraj ground strawberries to make fresh fruit juice. I was supposed to do something. It's really good to grind strawberries raw.

I wanted to do something for him, so I made him avocado shrimp cream pasta. It's a pasta that I made in my own way while traveling. Everyone likes it.

First, put oil on the pan and stir-fry minced garlic, chopped onion and tomato. Boil the noodles separately with salt. And then you fry chicken or shrimp and then grind the western pear on top of it. In Korea, we used to use pears for various dishes. You don't have to add sugar because pear tastes sweet. After that, put in milk and cook together, then add cheese and cook together. And add some soy sauce while tasting it. Personally, I prefer crunchy avocado. Too ripe is soft, so there's no chewing texture.

Fortunately, my pasta, which was recognized by many travelers, must have been delicious. He told me, it was delicious and cook it again.

In the afternoon, we visited to a cafe where twin sisters, a friend of Juraj, work, and the cake they sell looked like a korean chocolate cake, so I took a picture of it. I think it is rare for a country like Korea to have various delicious confectionery.

Juraj is a B-boying dancer, and he was going to participate in a dance competition in a week, so he was practicing hard.

When I was young, I also learned a lot from dance academy. I remember it was really fun. I forgot everything now, If I have time, I will learn again!
