THE SHOPPING GAME : 2020/7/26 | Happier Shopping Moments

Well, today my story is a bit different than my other shopping stories. In the other days, I went shopping with my mother or father. But today, I went with my boyfriend. You know, the boys are totally strange when shopping. Not like girls, they directly go to the stall, select the particular good and come😅. But in my case as a girl, I go through each stall and compare the differences between things and select a better and cheaper one. Let me share my experience for today.

Today we wanted to purchase some items and the main objective of the journey was enjoying a submarine bun. We selected Ambalangoda town which is closest to both of us. The following map shows our shopping map.

We started our travel at around 11.30 a.m. First, we visited a bookshop as I asked some sticker cards from him. 🙈 I wanted some more stickers for my scrapbook. While I select stickers he stayed near me and helped me by taking some photos.

As I took so long to select, he also helps me to pick some stickers.😬He picked multiple expensive cards but I didn't want to make a big bill for him. (Last time it happened) So I selected 4 cute sticker cards.

Then I wanted to buy something for him. We went to a fancy shop called LC. I went through multiple items but he refused everything. Finally, I make him sit in a chair and went alone to find something suitable for him.

There were some nice cups in a stall. So I selected a mug among them. You can see it in the black box, in right side of the picture. As he is a chocolate lover, I picked chocolate too. I wanted to buy a Kit Kat but they were not there. So I purchased another. I purchased a vaseline for me. After picking everything I called him back and I paid the bill.

Then we directly went to eat something. This is the tastiest part of the shopping always. We went to a Caffe called Hiro Ice Cream. This is our favorite Caffe. Actually he introduced this caffe to me. The interior design of the shop is so beautiful. The shop is very clean and customer service is really efficient. In other hand, food is really worth for its price.

We ordered 3 submarines and a faluda drink. Two submarines for our families and one for us. It took around 30min to prepare the submarine. It was bit long but we had so many things to talk about. Until the submarine is getting ready, they offered us a free snack.

After 30min they served our submarine. It is a deviled chicken submarine. It tastes good, but wasn't spice as we believed. The cost was 700 LKR per a submarine.

We also had a faluda, actually which is called jelly faluda. It is also tasty!😋 We took so long at the Caffe by eating and chatting.

We left it the shop around 1.45p.m. This time I paid the bill because last time I made a huge bill on him🙈

At the end of the meal, we were fully packed🤭. While coming back he purchased a flower plant (musandas) for me🥰. We spend some more time together and came back home.
