The Flower Order

Today, I am going to write about something really exciting for me. During the last few months, I watched lots of Shein haul videos, which attracted me to the Shein app. I wanted to try it out, but at the same time, I was a bit nervous as it incurs some custom taxes that we can't predict early. However, on the other hand, I really wanted to try it out too.

While I was thinking about Shein, my brain told me that we need more artificial flowers for our home. So, I searched a lot through Shein for suitable flower decorations for the upcoming New Year setup.

My theme color was orange, so I actually found lots of beautiful flowers there. Even when I checked custom charges, flowers were subject to tax. But, at the same time, I noticed that items less than 10,000 Rs are not eligible for taxes.

Even though Shein offers free delivery for orders over 50$, I decided to go for a minimum-priced order as this is my very first one.

I picked six items, which costed me only 8$. In addition to that, I paid 7$ for shipping. But still, I didn't regret it as the total amount is still lower than the amount I have to spend for it in Sri Lanka.

My items were delivered after about 10 days of ordering. There were no taxes added to this parcel.

All I ordered were flowers, and the best thing was artificial daisy heads. I ordered stems separately, so I was able to create the decoration that I really wanted.

Also, I purchased an orange daisy bouquet and gypsophila for another bouquet.

The third bouquet was created with hydrangea and some plant twigs.

Altogether, I was able to create three bouquets. All my vases are smaller, so I had to trim some of the stems.

I must say I am really satisfied with the outcome as it all turned out as I dreamt.
