Fried Cauliflower Dish!
Recently I had to try out new recipes that I had never did when I was at parents'. Today I thought to share one of such recipe I tried today.
May be you also love to eat Cauliflower (ගෝවා මල්) which is very neutritional and also little bit rare to find in vegitable shops. Personally I love to eat them as a curry made with coconut milk. Harith prefer to eat them fried, so I thought to prepare some fried Cauliflowers.
This recipe has two parts, the fried cauliflowers and the sause. You'll need wheat flour, corn flour, chile powder, salt, some tumeric and pepper powder with an egg to prepare the wrap.
I prepared the wrap by mixing above ingredients with little bit of water. Actually I had to add more corn flour later to make the mixture thicker.
Ihad already washed and cleaned the cauliflower piece. Later I boiled them after adding some salt and tumeric powder to water. As I wasn't planning to deep oil fry them I thought boiling flower pieces is better.
Then I dipped the cauliflower pieces in the wrap. Later I had to add more flour to make the wrap thicker.
After preparing the wrapped cauliflower pieces, I placed them in air fryer accordingly. Air fryer saves lots of oil as we use it to deep fry everything so far. I set 200°C for 10 min.
Until it frys, I prepared the sause. To make this I used chpped onion, Capsicum, soya sauce, chili flakes and brown sugar.
To thicken the sauce I added some corn flour mixed with water.
Finally it was time to mix the fried cauliflower pieces with the sause.
This same method can be used for mushrooms and chicken also.
Actually this dish was super delicious!.
