Country Representative Monthly Report - Sri Lanka - December

Now, it is my 5th month as the Country Representative of Sri Lanka. I feel it as a long time!

Special Activities or Contests I Have been Involved

01. Steem Sri Lanka Contest Series
It was a famous project among many communities and we finished it after conducting 13 contests for 3 months. We have distributed near 530 SP among our participants. You can find our retrospective here

02. Online Session on "Introduction to Cryptocurrency and STEEM"
In last monthly report, I promised to do an online session to fill gaps among our members about cryptocurrency. It was held on 19th December via Zoom. There was another external host for the meeting too. You can find a summary of our online session here

03. Resource Credit Support for New Comer's
The support program for newcomers to cover their resource credit went well in the last months also. I am getting some difficulties to finding newcomers with low resource credit by my self so I will change the procedure this month

04. Sponsoring steempowerup event
This was an alternative contest during the vacation of spud4steem. So I send the usual sponsorship for spud4steem to this even to encourage them.

05. Working with Community Curator Account @steem-sri.lanka
At the end of the year, the account passed 28000SP. We are working to delegate more and now it is 33000 SP. I did some activities to motivate and encourage our members and delegators too.

06. New Comers Achievement Verification and Steem Nursary
Currently, I'm working on curating achievement 1 on India Continent. @tarpan and @hassanabid curate Bangladesh and Pakistan while I curate the rest of countries.

Issues or Problems Amongst Steemians in Country

During the past month, I did not get any issue from their side. And I like to see more reach from @steemcurator02 to 100% powerup posts in our community too. Currently, we are receiving @booming votes and they voted for all posts we submitted so far.

Plans for the Coming Month

Mainly I am focusing on developing our curation trail parallel to the community curator account. During the upcoming month, my main focus will go on building our account, and at the end of the month, we will launch a contest series or similar event from Steem Sri Lanka.
