Cafe on the 5th | The Cafe on the 5th Lane :)

Last Sunday, on the way home e stopped by Cafe on the 5th to grab our lunch. The cafe on the 5th is very close to our office, even though I haven't visited there until this day. As its name says, Cafe on the 5th is located on the 5th lane, in a very reachable location with quite good parking. The Cafe is located in a kind of old-looking building which is probably can be a old house.

It consists of a juice bar, kitchen, and also a bakery with a big seating area.

The place had an average crowd at that time. Within a few minutes, the waiter approaches us with the menu. There were two menus, one for Mains and Dishes and another menu for beverages. Prices were ranges from 800 LKR to 2500 LKR for mains.

There were three of us, Harith, his sister, and me. So we ordered three separate dishes and drinks. The portion is enough for one person. Actually, I loved the dish that ordered for Harith :) So I managed to enjoy half of his plate. He ordered Chicken and mushroom pasta. Initially I thought it is boring because it didn't look spice, but it was the best pasta dish I enjoyed recently.

All food is very delicious and the two rice plates were a bit spicy. The Nasi Goreng was really worth comparing to the same plate we have tried from other restaurants.

How should I miss the drinks? Actually, they had plenty of Beverage options. We ordered a blue lagoon and a virgin mojito. I waited for a long time to taste this but finally, I realized it is just normal. Is it?

Anyway, their food is very good and worthwhile it and also the place is very relaxing and clean. We should stop by next time also.
