The Debate (week 31); Public Vs Private Transportation

Greetings steemians how are you today? thanks for reading my post, today I will be taking part in the debate contest organised by @sahmie here in the steem fashion&style community.

And the theme of the debate is on public transportation vs private transportation which I will be sharing with you all my view on which amongst them is more better and sustainable than the other.

In this case as compared to private means of transportation public transport cars do not cut down the emission of carbon into our atmosphere.

Because public transport car owners pay less attention to their cars as the car will be emitting thick smoke but they will careless about it.

Rather for private car owners they will take their time and service their car ensuring that it is up to a better standard before driving which will inturn emit less carbon into our environment.

The only thing that influences people's choice of transportation is none other than the cost as well as time management and fear.

Yes many people prefer public transportation because you tend to spend less when it comes to transport fare, meanwhile private car owners will have to spend more on fuel for a single movement at a time.

Most people prefer private transportation due to time management in a sense that they can easily move from place to place without wasting much time looking for a taxi.

While most people prefer public transportation because of fear, as they are afraid of driving so they prefer to use public transportation instead.

Yes of course the advancement of technologies can definitely make private transport system to be much greener than ever.

Take for example electric cars when made global it will definitely be a turn around in the private means of transportation as people will spend little to nothing and still move from one place to another with ease.

According to my own opinion the only way government can boost public transportation is by ensuring that fuel in the nation is affordable and cheap.

Yes when fuel price is cheap and affordable for all drivers will have remains to take care of their car as well as themselves and also transport fares would be very much affordable.

The only economic factor that I know that can affect transport decisions amongst people is none other than the cost, it is the value of something that forces people to think otherwise.

For example here in Nigeria though it's no good but the cost of fuel is making car owners to prefer public transportation, while the cost of transportation has also made passengers to prefer trekking to public transport.
