Understanding ourselves is also understanding people. Although we are all different, our temperament, thinking, emotions and behaviour are not that much different from one another.

Once you can truly understand people, nothing they do will surprise you. People are not rational beings. As such, do not have expectations of them, or you will be disappointed. People are who they are and they can't help it. They could have had it so easy, but they like to make things more complicated than necessary.
