What is a Crypto Gate?
A crypto gate is a digital gate which enables the flow of fiat money into the crypto ecosystem, by focusing on solutions for very specific real world problems. Quadro Crypto Gates will enable the flow of fiat currency specifically into the Steem Ecosystem.
QCG will first focus on enabling crypto gates on the African continent, before expanding to other developing regions including India and South America.
Why use the Steem blockchain?
The QCG platform is using the Steem blockchain as it’s backbone, to enable growth of both the Steem and Steem Based Dollars currencies.
During the next few years, most development on Blockchains will be focused on enabling networks and base layer services. Competition will certainly bring more focused development, however no blockchain will succeed without reaching critical mass. There are currently only a few blockchains like Steem, which can capably handle the large throughput required to achieve very specific goals.
QCG believes that the Steem blockchain are in the best position to reach critical mass and we have therefor decided to base our future developmet of the QCG platform on this blockchain.
QCG will assist the Steem blockchain and indirectly the Steemit community to grow the network by literally hundreds of thousands of users, and enable a series of investment opportunities.
Most importantly the crypto gates will encourage the purchasing of Steem and Steem Based dollar currencies. Most African countries already accept US dollar as a core trading currency and with the Steem based dollar peg, it will be be an easier transition into a crypto currency.
Who is Quadro Crypto Gate?
QuadroIT has been building IT solution for many years, and was a key sponsor for the first ever Steem Saturday in the world. As a result QuadroIT has started a blockchain / crypto entity. The team consist of various fellow steemians, and they will be introduced when the time is right. For now, we wanted to introduce the Quadro Crypto gate platform and its potential to the community.
Quadro Cryptogate will over the next few weeks introduce more of our plans and actions going forward. We are already in final negotiation stages for CG1, CG2 and CG3. We are also in early discussion stages with various potential other Cryptogates and as a result we are building a large pipeline to be executed in the near future.
Digital money in Africa would be the answer to assisting those in remote regions, smartphone technology has bridged the gap.
What is a surprise, is it is always converted into USD; very expensive and usually on a roller coaster ride in any 3rd world country, 'spot rates' in your dreams. Buying /Selling is in line with Exchange at time of purchase or sale.
We Africans that have banking facilities move money to an Exchange, that is after being verified between Fiat Bank/ Exchange, so any move can take up to 3 days. Sit back and watch that red hot price deal go out of the window.
Now those without a bank account, who are the majority, how do they start to obtain digital money? No one is going to walk around with a packet full of cash to buy digital money from someone they don't know. Moving money from fiat currency to an overseas denomination is not going to be understood, lack of education is going to be a major challenge.
I personally am sold on this concept, however find many questions begging on how to help the majority, making them more in control of their destiny?

People who don't have access to banks can still use steel to blog and therefore make money that way. Once the gate is established steel will have a tangible value to anyone who has a bank linked to steel and they'll naturally accept steel as an easy and quick tax free solution
