Great Players not Teams
Today the world cup said goodbye to the best 2 players in the world, proving that football is a team sport.
Its a shame to see Ronaldo and Messi suffer in such poor teams and they did well to get to this stage of the world cup.
I don't feel sorry for them as they are multi millionaires lol but from a sporting point of view is always awesome to see the best players performing.
Both teams were never really amongst the favourites and probably did well to get to this stage.
Is this the last time we see them at the world cup?
That will probably be the question leading up to the next world cup. They are both unbelievable athletes and once the dust settles will probably want to prove a point and make one last rub at the world cup, so don't be surprised to see one or both in 2022 in Qatar
Messi is 31 so would be 35 at the time of the next world cup, Ronaldo is 33 and would be 37, so highly unlikely to see both even one but they are blessed with health and fitness and rarely get injured so I wouldn't be shocked to see them again.
Congratulations to France and Uruguay they both looked impressive and dealt with the threats well and deserved to win.
We may have witnessed the best player in the world for years to come with Mbappe, still so young but could be great as he grows and matures.
Tomorrow I am looking forward to seeing L Modric(Croatia) Isco(Spain) C Ericson(Denmark) they could be key players for there teams as well as a few others, so should be interesting games, expect Croatia and Spain to go through
