Doodledayeo #13 - Sci-fi cyber dream up
After being inspired to draw last week after seeing @opheliafu's drawing competition (I missed the deadline, but here's something I did anyway: https://steemit.com/art/@pv-p/there-is-no-such-animal-as-a-disorganized-community), I've just managed to make this week's deadline!

Thanks a lot, there's a a lot of inspiration from Miyazaki and One Piece. :) I had a look at the previous contests and saw that the competition has been getting tougher, had to strap my doodling boots on for this one. Can't wait to see the next challenge!

Never worry about a drawing being too 'simple' though- the true essence of the challenge is to do with ideas.

I totally agree it's about the ideas, but I sometimes need the competition/deadline to finish a project otherwise I can procrastinate indefinitely. ;)

Your Elephant reminds me of some cool 80's comics like 2000 Ad. A bit of Manga vibe too. Love it...

Thanks @marty-art! Yeah there's a lot of inspiration from Japanese castles mixed with over-grown post-apocalyptic cities. I had a look at a few pictures of Kowloon City too but that was too much of a mess to try and draw haha. The drawing is roughly 8x10cm
