THOUGHT ON MONEY
People do say that money can't buy happiness but what will be the emotional state of a poor man who is given a good amount of money that could elevate is life from being poor. A man who poverty has overtaken his life and could barely afford a good meal in a day? Happy I guess, I don't just guess but I know such a one would be definitely happy. So why then do we say money can't buy happiness? We need money to get our daily needs and getting our daily needs will certainly make us happy. So why the saying ''money can't happiness''. I know someone might be thinking I'm in the school of thought that thinks money equals happiness but I'm not.
Money do can't buy happiness but money can certainly get happiness. There are so many rich out there with so many problems and each day, they go to bed sorrowful while some poor people out there her living happily with their family and friends even though their financial status might not be encouraging. I think it could have been a really fair world if the rich use the money they have to elevate the life of the poor around them but unfortunately, life isn't that fair. They do say that life ain't a bed of roses which is actually true. But I do think if the rich use what they have to help the poor, they can gain some kind of happiness from knowing they contributed to putting a smile on someone's face then everyone will be happy also.
The greatest mistake anyone can ever make is to chase money and forgets about oneself. Abandoning your friends and family because you need money ain't worth it. I'm one person that believes that being wealthy is not about owing a fortune and living the most luxurious life. A wealthy person to me is one who can take care of his/her essential needs with no difficulties and one who is surrounded by love and care from his/her loved ones.
I know we all do want more than being able to have our daily necessities which I ain't excluded from but in search of a daily necessity, we should also not forget ourselves. Don't bury yourself all day in the chase of money, take some time out to relax and have fun. Spend quality time with your loved ones. Time spent with those that matter to our heart is something that is worthy. Pay attention to your health both medical, physical and emotional.
Money is good but we shouldn't let it overshadow us. Chase money with yourself intact, done lose yourself to money.
Yeah, money can give happiness but it can't buy happiness. Let ourselves comes before money. Money is a good necessity but not everything in life.
