Birds playing in the kitchen

I haven't written anything for a long time about our birdies, so it's time to fix it. This time, I would talk about their kitchen games.

I indeed have ever mentioned that my parrots, when they are outside of the cage, do everything with me. I don't know what comes to your mind at first when you hear "everything," but yes, they go with me to the toilet when there is no other option. Occasionally they even take a shower with me. Resp. I'm showering myself, and they are watching. But now back to the kitchen.

Apart from the fact that Agi is most likely demolishing tea boxes, the cleaning dishes have the greatest success. Cupboard must be opened because of it, which is quite an event for our birdies. And the plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, etc. make a great sound while hiding. As soon as they hear some sound, they are already flying to its source. So cleaning dishes has become our everyday activity.

How is it going?

I clean up, and they are watching. That would be an ideal case. But in reality, they jump on the plates, glasses become their perches, and they are standing it the last empty spot for a mug. I don't care about Pipiczech doing it, but I am afraid of Agi. When I approach him with a pot, he immediately wants to eat me alive. He doesn't like fingers.

Another favorite kitchen discipline is cooking. They can cook spaghetti, soups and ginger tea. Of course, I don't let them go to the wooden spoon or the oven. That would be their end. They are only allowed to jump around and annoy. When I peel off or cut something, they immediately eat peelings and the knife (Pipíczech likes shiny things), so, besides watching my fingers, I have to watch out for the two crazy torpedoes.

When I cook soups, they jump on my arm and explore what I'm doing. You can see an example in the first photo. Well ... OK, I'll give it here one more time, so you don't have to scroll.

In the picture, you can see my birds carefully watching the stirring of a child of their distant cousin - chicken. Resp. They were watching until somebody with a mobile came and started taking pictures. They suddenly became models.

You may wonder why their feathers look so odd. It's because they like to bath. So I squirt water on them, and they have a shower... Just before taking the photo, they did so and didn't get completely dry. That's why their feathers are dark in some places.

The next time I have to document their bathing, it's really a great spectacle :)
