Why I Chose a Username "pinay"

It is NOT my cup of tea to be a combative or a competitive blogger. I supposed to publish this after deadline but I am worried someone might post a similar content and accuse me of plagiarism so I better do it now. Haha!
The reason why I chose a username @pinay is because it is available when I signed up. LOL!
I don't think there's a need to explain it to my fellow Filipinos but for non Filipinos, 'pinay' simply means a lady from the Philippines.
I remember during Bubblews time, I laughed so hard when I first heard someone called us 'Philippinese'.
Not like America and China, a citizen of the Philippines is generally called Filipino not Philippinese nor Philippian/Philippinian. A man is specifically called Filipino (pinoy for short) and a woman is Filipina (pinay for short). Our national language is also called Filipino.
When I was young we spelled it #Pilipino and I thought our national language was #Tagalog. [THIS ARTICLE explained it.]
When I started joining blogging sites I used a username @AdGoggleKo but many netizens misspelled it as 'adGoogleKo' that's why I decided to change and use 'pinay'. But someone misspelled it too as 'pinaRy' close to BINARY. Maybe next time I'll just use 'lol' if available. :-D
As I mentioned earlier, it isn't my cup of tea to be a competitive blogger. I didn't want to use the contest tag for this post to give chance to others. LOL!

I know what your tag name means having some affiliation with your country. I'm a little surprised it was available though and good on you getting it, there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Meron nga pala akong ni-refer sa iyo si @stepbie. Nagtatanong siya kung may tutorial ba o guidelines papaano mag-invest USD bili ng Steem. Meron kasi siyang downpayment na USD1000 para sa Model S na Electric Vehicle ng Tesla pero balak nyang i-withdraw. Sabi ko invest nya sa Steem tapos power up para malaki makuha nya pagnag-upvote sya ng posts nya. Tapos recommend ko blog mo para may idea siya papaano. Kasi kung ako lang hindi ko maexplain sa kanya yung mga pinost mo lol.

Close enough @stepbie. I was also actually asking her if it was okay that I referred you to her without informing her first. Should have been the other way around but spur of the moment you know she was the first person that came to my mind. She's a crypto expert and has numerous posts on trading and exchanging cryptos. If anyone can help it's her.

Haha thank you po nahihirapan din talaga ako mag-isip username yan agad naiisip ko pero hindi ko yan sinali 'blog' ginamit kong tag instead na #mynameiswhat hindi ako mahilig makipagcompete. Mas enjoy ako magblog for fun fun lang. 😊
