First Photocircle Community post!
It was 2 years ago when Photocircle was first initiated in the Steem network. It wasn’t the first photography-related curation project but it is one of the longest running up to date. And now that “Community” feature is already rolled by Steemit, the Photocircle initiative is more motivated in delivering its vision:
And now that the community feature has materialized, we wanted to add to our vision the goal to create a platform where photographers can share their work and connect with like-minded photographers as well.
The Photocircle community will also serve as a funnel for photographers outside the Steem network to be welcomed and be provided with the necessary support.
We are still very fresh on the use of the Community feature and so in the next few days, we will lay out a progressive plan on how we can effectively implement our vision for the steem network.
In addition, we are also open for collaboration with other communities in the success of the steem network!
Lastly, let me share this quote from Tim Fargo:

Awesome :) I am curious how this will work with communities since is all new, but I think is a good way to bring photographers together and help us grow :) The future is bright :D
That's true, it may take a while for steem users to adapt and it may take few more tests for moderators to fully utilize this new feature but I'm also quite positive about it. Let's see how things will play out... cheers!
