Snowy April Ulog

Greetings, Steemians! Hope you're staying warm, because it's been snowing here. But I was determined to make sun tea anyway, so I set it in the window to brew yesterday. I'm in the mood for some halfnhalf limeade and tea.

I brushed off the ledges of the balcony and put it in the tree pots to give them some water and insulation. Emmy the Elm had sprouted leaves already when it was still warm:

But it's supposed to be warming up again now so I think she'll be okay. :)

Have you ever wondered what cloth moth eggs look like? No? You might be familiar with their cocoons and larvae and flying form, but their eggs look like gritty sand:

That was in my sewing repair basket. Naturally. So I washed a bunch of stuff and plucked off the cocoons and nothing was too far gone that it couldn't be salvaged, but I AM SO TIRED OF THESE MOTHERFUCKING CLOTH MOTHS IN MY MOTHERFUCKING APARTMENT. Rawr.

I did also toss in my started-but-haven't-worked-on-in-months patchwork curtain, because I figured if the repair basket got mothed ...and I was right, it was a little mothed, too. But what I didn't realize was that I had left pins in it, which I discovered when I began pulling things out of the washer and "tingtingting!" ...one fell on the floor. Oops. I hope I found them all...

I FINALLY restrung my copper beads and mala beads, and I already popped one of the multiple bracelets I made with them this time instead of one long bracelet. I figured that way if one breaks, I still have most of my copper, and already it happened. I am MAGICKAL about breaking jewelry, y'all.
