Welcome to Bicester Village which is home to pretty much all the designer shops that you can think of.

Prada, Kate Spade, Versace, BOSS, Coach, Breitling, Claudie Pierlot, Le Creuset, Gucci, Maison Margiela, Vivienne Westwood, Soho Home, Rituals, Tod’s, Brunello Cucinelli, Bottega Veneta, Rupert Sanderson, Dior, The White Company, Longchamp, Tao, Saint Laurent, Tommy Hilfiger, Mulberry, Michael Kors, Celine, Dolce & Gabbana and many others rub shoulders here.

Chiltern Railways take you to Bicester from Marylebone train station here in London every 30 minutes.

The price of the ticket is pretty much fixed so for 300 Steem you are free to hop on any time train you fancy.

There are even two train stations here but aim for getting off straight at the Village rather than the North if you wish to waste no time and hit the shops straight away.

As expected this time of the year, Christmas has conquered the entire designer village.

It doesn’t get more Christmassy than this unless it starts snowing ,which is quite a rare thing here and never lasts as long as kids wish it did.

Other than the hundreds of shops, some of which you need to join a waiting list to go in, you can also grab a bite to eat here.

There are macaroons, burgers, fish and chips and sandwiches, even affordable chains which are familiar to many like Itsu and Pret A Manger.

What I loved best and lifted the spirits of many was the fun opportunity to jump on a sledge with your entire family and have your photo taken by the always smiling and ever so polite village staff members.

They also photo you with an Instax camera so you receive a paper copy of your photograph too which they even frame for you nicely, all complimentary of course.

Just remember to keep the image in your pocket for a few minutes so it develops properly.
