1. Steemit.com adds beneficiaries
Steemit Inc has added a feature to steemit.com to allow authors to add beneficiaries to share the rewards on their posts.
This was in response to pull requests from community developers @blockchainstudio and @eonwarped...
2. DTube Opens Sign-up
DTube has now begun open sign-up to non Steem users.
New accounts will be rewarded with up to 6.1 DTC (DTube tokens) in return for providing date of birth, email, Facebook account and phone number. This will help with age verification (13+) and with preventing multiple auto account creations.
DTube also aims to recruit users from the Avalon blockchain that it will be based on. It will still be part of Steem as well and will be offering Steem accounts to the best new DTubers based on their "performance"....
3. SteemPeak adds eSteem's Search
SteemPeak has released v1.17 with a number of new features including integration with eSteem's Steem Search service...

4. TokenBB Forum Explorer
Steem based forum platform @tokenbb has added a new feature for exploring the growing number of TokenBB forums to help make community and content discovery easier...
5. Steem Proposal System News
Developer @steemchiller has added a facility to Steemworld.org to keep track of proposals to the Steem Proposal System.
This includes the ability to see who has voted for each proposal including proxied votes...
@dmitrydao has added more new features to his SteemProposals.com site including the ability to watch proxied votes.
He has announced that he has withdrawn his proposal from the Steem Proposal System...
Meanwhile @gadrian discusses the issue of Witness Proxies being automatically carried over as voting proxies for the new Steem Proposal System...
6. Discord token tracker bot
Witness @ausbitbank has developed a Discord bot to track market movements for Steem-Engine tokens.
He is offering it to tribe owners and token investors for a one-time setup fee of 100 STEEM. He has also made the source code for a basic version freely available for anyone who would like to host it themselves...
7. Smartsteem nearing relaunch
@smartsteem has given an update on progress towards its relaunch.
The new Smartsteem will expand its manual curation and will include the first use-cases of SmartPoints...
