I present you my team!
Final game of the season
Yesterday, after 28 games we played our last game of the season. The final of the cup against rivals from the same village, VK Bekegem. They became champions in the league, and we became 5th. Not that something like that matters in a cup final, but still they only lost one game in 28 games, which is quite impressive. We know eachother pretty well, and in the past they lost quite a few games against us, so it could go either way.

We had the upper hand in the first half, but their goalie, a good friend of mine did some magnificent saves, and we had an error in the defense, and an an error by the referee that took us 2-0 down at the interval.
We didn't give up, and had some good opportunities after the break, we could score, but the goalie of Bekegem denied the equalizer 3 times.
End score 2-1, we lost, but played an amazing game against the champions. A nice way to end the season, with a second cup final in our history.

Morale of the day, team spirit can't be replaced by anything, not a thousand wins!

Invite them for free drinks the night before the next game, make sure your team only drinks soft-drinks and light beer? =)
