The tobacoo warning-label removal-hack for silencing black magic mantra influence

in #white-magic5 years ago (edited)

I keep noticing how certain mind viruses are entering our society en mass these days, and due to recent reminders I want to tell a story of how we turned black magic into a positive and beneficial influence back in summer at my beloved Ozora festival using the power of repetition, turning the system structure's tools against itself.

No matter who you ask, smoking has got to be one of those issues where most people agree - smokers will have somewhat of bad conscience about it and non-smokers the slightest aura of judgment and condemnation. Everyone really agrees - it must definitely be bad for you, it definitely causes lung cancer and will drastically shorten your lifespan no matter what. And if you happen to find yourself on the non-smoking camp you are somehow on the right side...

Yeah well we all have heard that before and how couldn't we have? After all, you are hardpressed to find anything tobacoo-product related in Europe these days where huge sterile labels don't jump out at you from a box of cigarettes or even rolling tobacco. Interestingly (and this is a key hint here) most if not all governments agree as well. Isn't if funny how we are always presented with endless tirades and differences in opinion when it comes to comparing governmental stances on most issues but here they are all magically interested in people getting healthy... Yeah I don't think so... And since you know it's one of my missions on steem to explore some unpopular opinions I feel it is high time we looked at this tobacco situation.

Where the thing used to read "smoking may be deadly" it now simply reads "smoking is deadly". And many many other warnings such as this, including overly-graphic and sometimes outright hilarious depictions doing their utmost to deter people from engaging in this sort of activity. And while this may sound helpful on the surface I have come to be quite annoyed with these constant "reminders", especially because you can't really avoid seeing them every time you want to smoke some tobacco of any sort.

I really want to write about the other side of the story in the near future when I have some more time on my hands again, because - rest assured - there is another side to that narrative, and all governments agreeing is really just the tip of the conspiratiorial iceberg.

For now though I want to stick with the story of last summer and how my friends and me hacked that type of bad mantra one morning after we had gotten tired of being greeted by those gruesome labels and pictures every morning.

Sorry for including some of the black magic here, but I feel it has its place in this context and helps the case for nullifying it a great deal

Diffusing the spell

The hack was quite simple but really effective: All you do is take some duct tape and put it over the warning label. Ahh, so much better! It's not like the alleged effects of smoking are forgotten this way, in fact we tended to talk more about the issue, its pro and counter arguments, seeing that big black piece of duct tape on the packages. But where there were partly staged and ridiculous graphics on the packages before there now was simply a black piece of plastic. With some effort this could be turned into something even more beneficial, white magic of sorts. You could make your own sticker or label that has a positive message attached to it. Not necessarily in regards to tobacco but anything really. Due to the regularity with which most smokers reach for their tobacco pouch putting mantras on it is an ideal place for messages you want cemented in your subconscious. And why leave that influential billboard to the freakin' gang?

"Removing the black magic" is what we called it and we dug the idea endlessly, so did the other crews who came to our camp and took notice. "Hey, that's a great idea with the duct tape!"

It actually sparked more discussion than those pesky government labels, made us more aware of how much tobacco was being used (as we had to put new duct tape into place after a pouch had been emptied) and it felt great overall not carrying these governmental advertisements around with us. Especially after we had met several people telling the other side of the tobacoo narrative I had been vaguely familiar with before, they took our action and the resulting modified tobacoo packages as a great discussion starter and we all learned a ton from it. It seems there may be great reasons why governments are apparently so keen for our health and well-being suddenly, while they continue to push GMOs, infrastructures of electromagnetic pollution and an economy wrapped in plastic, to name but a few of the system structure's daily atrocities regarding human health.

If you are a smoker, or if you know someone who smokes please do consider reading up on the other side of the argument and make some labels for them, or even a custom pouch. There seems to be enough people fed up with the propaganda so that tobacco pouches have greatly risen in popularity and availability in recent years and it won't be long until the whole commercial packaging is one giant warning label, affirming the most terrible things to affirm on a perpetual basis for the subconscious.

If you don't want to make your own labels just find some duct tape somewhere and feel the difference.

Who would have guessed that dispelling black magic could be done so easily... ;)

This article is a work in progress and may become part of a rather controversial health-related mini series. Stay tuned!

Since I feel most people are so stuck on seeing tobacco as a great evil for our health I want to take some time and work on the case for the other side of the narrative that is rather underrepresented out there. We may indeed come to the same conclusion that tobacco is a really bad thing to have in your life but at least we'll have reconsidered and may actually turn up some rather unexpected and lost pieces of knowledge and "trivia". Where everyone agress there is usually something marvellous to be uncovered and this topic is no different.
