Sighted in South Africa!
A Cape Skimmer Dropwing came in to have a look at me!
The weather is a bit crazy over here, as we were advised to prepare for a storm here in the Cape, but no rain today and occasionally the sun broke through the clouds. The forecasts keep on changing by the hour and from the suggested 22 we saw 26 degrees Celsius today. Instead we heard that there's flooding and deaths further down the coastline in the KZN province that is approximately 1600 kilometers from us here in the Cape province.
I managed to get a variety of shots in and please join me in our day!
A nice sun shot of the Cape Skimmer!
Here's our sun behind some cloud today.
Our moon was also hiding in the clouds last night!
This is a midnight shot on the flash, of the 24 hour Echinopsus (Hedgehog) cactus flower!
And here is a 4am shot also on the flash of the same flower.
Sadly, as you see here, it is the flower's ending!
Could this flier be the weatherman having a personal look?
An Egyptian Goose landing on a street lamp maybe also to get a better view of the weather conditions hahaha!
At least this dwarf baby chameleon got a bit of sun!
Finally, this is what one of the mountain valleys looked like today!
Seems that summer is now in full swing here, but in saying this, some of our nights can just not depart from the cold winter feel. Many of the different dragonfly species have also not yet appeared, as they need hot and humid weather leave their cocoons. I am sure that the full sun beach days will return sooner or later and we look forward to some new discovery trips.

Another great post lovely shots the weather here is crazy 55 at 5am quite reasonable then by midday down to 33F just on freezing point and going down from there

Exactly the same here my friend, this morning the wind seems to have a grudge again. We do need the water, but I have a feeling that summer will have soaring temperatures again.
