CARRIED AWAY ALL DAY
That was insane!
LIFE IS HARD... WORK
This is one of the current builds. It'll be used for quail, and I was planning on working on it today... but i just never got around to it. Interestingly enough, since we'll have about an extra yard of concrete when we pour the walls of the root cellar tomorrow, this one will get a concrete floor and little front porch too.
I borrowed the neighbors bobcat today to prepare for concrete tomorrow and propane on Wednesday. Among other tasks, I decided to relocate most of one of my rock collections. It's nice having so many durable resources, like rocks!
These stumps are quite the stellar resources that the rocks are, but this was a good opportunity to move them too. They will most likely just be used for bonfires, but they will have to dry out first. Honestly, even with a machine like this saving me manpower, today was rough. I even found a big skink and little worm snake today, but didn't have time to photograph or video them. Perhaps if I detain them overnight...
While I did have a hamburger for breakfast... sometime around noon, the only other food I ate until dinner was some watermelon with Monster Truck. Thankfully he brought some down for me, or I would have missed out. Note to self: eat regularly.
After I was done with the bucket on the bobcat, I switched to the trencher. We'll at least want a light in the root cellar, plus the propane line has to go underground, so trenching it is easiest. Thanks @bluerthangreen!
Eventually, the sun set and we ran out of daylight. Interestingly enough, I never seem to run out of work. I feel like falling over right now, so I think it's off to bed for me! Steem on!

Your work is looking great, my friend!
We're moving forward... still.
Thanks for the encouragement!
A solid effort putting my week thus far to shame! Just logged in and saw this post first, now i feel like looking for a bobcat to borrow :)
LOL! That make me laugh out loud! Thanks!
I was semi-serious man! haha
Good job! Well done....:)...
Ha, I have the same problem when working on projects. Try not to have too much fun with the pour tomorrow!
this was the scene in my neighborhood several moths ago......as sidewalks were re-done -
I have the same feeling about never running out of work. There is just so. much. that. needs. doing!!!
You're plugging away strong, though - especially gaining so much experience right on the job like this. Good work on the trench: and yeah, definitely listen to that note to self.
Thanks for the mention! I like the black on green. Outstanding.
Great days work @papa-pepper! The quails house looks really cool -with a concrete floor and front porch the girls will be wanting to make a play house out of it - you must be exhausted after so much work today! Sweet dreams!🌈🦋🌴❤️
I think there are so many beautiful posts in all. Thank you
Never heard or saw a "trencher", you are well equipped there, here in India only shovel Sir :-)
I've use the shovel if I had to, but the giant "earth chainsaw" works excellent too!
