2 KM Above The Sea Level
I was browsing through the photography tag to find inspiration for my post.
Believe me or not but I also did some manual curation. I hope people will appreciate because it is very time-consuming.
The day is simply too short. If I do one thing I must skip another. Today I also tried to return upvotes to more people who upvote my posts.
That's even worse. So many clicks to go to one person's blog just to find he or she didn't post for months. How to return an upvote?
At the same time I know I miss out many active users. It's frustrating.
Especially, because I know that you think I don't care. I really do but it's just overwhelming.
I go to bed after midnight every day and have problems in the morning to get out of bed.
Somehow I'll need to rethink my strategy but I don't know how.
And on top of that many late evenings, I'm staring into a laptop screen with no idea what to publish.
Like now.
I pulled out some shots from my mountain hike last fall when we vacationing in Slovenia.
At first glance, it looks like there is just grass and rocks, but if you look carefully there are many flowers scattered all over the place.
Nature is harsh at 2 km above sea level. They need to be humble and smart.

Howdy sir oldtimer! Don't worry about making it to everyone's posts, I think you just have to accept that with steemit you do what you can do and you'll always be behind because it's so overwhelming. As far as what to post...shoot...any photos you find to post are always great! Add your sense of humor and you got a winner everytime.
I do not know how you do to capture such good moments in photographs, surely nature gives you your moments.
A manual curation? I do not know what it is but nothing more with saying manual must have work so I hope I also value it and speculate.
You are one of the few that I follow in steemit that is active every day in your post, it is always a pleasure to look at your photographs
These shots were all pretty fantastic. The shot below just squeezed out the intitial shot as my favorite.
This is what I love about photography and the gift of perspective. Beauty and art is found in how we look at things.
Sorry you are feeling overwhelmed on here. I think it is important that steeming be essentially an enjoyable endeavour. I depend mostly on my feed to keep me informed of the new posts of my friends. I run through my feed usually in the morning when I get up and just before I go to bed at night. If a new face upvotes and leaves me a nice comment, I will usually make a point of visiting their blog and seeing what they post and if it resonates with me, I'll leave an upvote and follow. Every so often, I will go through and cull a few names out to keep it manageable. (PPl who have moved on, that kind of thing.) It has got to be maneagebe and enjoyable, right? Or fatigue will set in fast. I stick mainly to photography, poetry, and art and so that keeps things positive and soul nourishing.
I don't know if anyone thinks you don't care. I certainly don't. The way you conduct yourself on here certainly suggests care and interest in our growing ecosystem. We can all only do what we can do. You are alright by me:):):)
