Two major things were highlighted in this segment. Building an attractive/pleasing personality and the human mind being both a broadcasting and receiving station for thoughts.
However, he also talked about the common enemies that stand between humans and success; and the most outstanding of those enemies are; INTOLERANCE, CUPIDITY, GREED, JEALOUSY, SUSPICION, REVENGE, EGOTISM, CONCEIT, THE TENDENCY TO REAP WHERE THEY HAVE NOT SOWN AND THE HABIT OF SPENDING MORE THAN THEY EARN.
A Pleasing and Attractive Personality
It is the personalities back of a business which determines the measure of success the business will enjoy. Modify those personalities so they are more pleasing and more attractive to the patrons of the business and the business will thrive......Napoleon Hill.
A pleasing personality can make your success journey a less stressful one. It can help you sell any product with ease because people usually buy personalities behind a product more than just the product. Ever wondered why two people who sell the same thing at the same price with the same packaging, yet one sells ten times more than the other one?
Regardless of what your major chief aim in life may be, you will attain it with much less difficulty after you learn how to cultivate a pleasing personality and after you have learned the delicate art of allying yourself with others in a given undertaking without friction or envy.
You know why you need to possess a pleasing personality? It is a necessity if you really want to be successful in life. Of course, success is a relative term, but as covered by this course, it means achieving your Definite Chief Aim.
Having a pleasing personality is not the same thing as trying to please everyone.
Don't be afraid of a little opposition. Remember that the "kite" of success generally rises AGAINST the wind of adversity....not with it!

Our Minds Transmit and Receive Thoughts.
The author believes that every human brain is both a broadcasting and receiving station for vibrations of thought frequency. In other words, our thoughts could pass as wireless waves from our brains through the ether and flow around the universe.
Every mind or brain is directly connected with every other brain by the means of the ether. Every thought released by any brain may be instantly picked up and interpreted by all other brains that are "en rapport" with the sending brain.
You know what that means? What you are thinking right now, or how you're feeling now could be as a result of another person's thought interfering with yours. Example, two days ago, I was feeling terribly bad. It was so bad that I had to rush home and cry like something bad happened to me. Yet I have no idea of what could be the cause of my feelings. I know you may never have to cry for no justifiable reason, but you will also agree with me that there are times when you'll feel happy or disturbed without knowing why. Could it be that the author is correct about our brains transmitting thoughts? Yes, at least, I believe so. So when next you have an idea of starting something new, don't hesitate to do it because you could wake-up one day and find another person doing the same thing exactly the way you thought about it.
"Any person who has made observations on the state of progress of the human mind, by observing his own, cannot but have observed that there are two distinct classes of what are called thoughts: those we produce in ourselves by reflection and the act of thinking, and those that bolt into the mind of their own accord. Imagine what you will be able to achieve if you learn this and start using it to your advantage. You'll easily identify minds that are in harmony with yours. It will help you pick good team members with whom you'll form THE MASTER MIND.

Write them down. As we progress on this course, if you strictly follow the principles that will be shared, you will see yourself easily overcome all those habits.
2. By analyzing some of the things shared about having a pleasing personality, will you say you have a pleasing personality or not?
3. Have you ever come in contact with somebody for the first time and immediately you feel good or bad about the person without any reason?
4. Do you adopt the author's assertions that our brains are broadcasting station for thoughts?
Your Assignment
Look in the mirror and tell yourself the truth as regards to why you failed previously in a given undertaking or area of your life.
Think deep. Meditate on it and the truth will surely come to the limelight.
Write this down and meditate on it

Due to power constraint like you know. I may well do the assignment here
Spending more than I earn and working on that.
Yes I do, Back in the university, whenever I home during the break. I usually help my mum in her shop and she finds it surprising that I sell more than and always wanting me to be there.
Yes especially the bad ones. Once met a girl who wanted to follow me home and suddenly fell sick on the way. Had to go back and cancel everything so I can treat myself. The moment she left, I was fine again. This shows our body has the ability to sense danger and prevent it.
I feel there is an invisible antenna or wifi connected. A psychologist tries to get your attention and by so doing, fuse both minds together and while the conversation is going, the psychologist can easily predict your next move. In our daily lives, there is this one person who know and very close to and you can tell what the person is thinking. This happens as a result of brain fusion and we connect through. There are people who communicate mere looking at one another.
Guess the Assignment won't be submitted so I will simply just meditate in my head.
Like minds attracts and unlike minds repels. You can always do more or succeed when you associate with like minds...

A pleasant personality being key to the success of any business is something even the everyday man on the street can relate to.
We all have that store we skip in the market not because our choice of goods or services is not obtainable there, but because we do not like the personality of the store owners or workers.
The brain being a transmitter of thoughts, I wouldn't say I can relate totally to this but there are times when the mood or thoughts of the people around you influence your own mood or thoughts. So I think the theory might be plausible.

I concur because i have experienced it.. When i was attending computer school. Oneday, i came to school but was sleeping all day unlike me. I was asked if i am feeling fine, which i was fine and healthy. The following day i got the news that my best friend, the only son of the family passed away the previous day( i was sleeping all day at school).....

No better truth than these. However, I have this idea that the personality may not be appreciated in some locality.
I used to have that intolerant trait, but I've learnt to take shits and convert it to manure. More like getting good things out of craps.
