ACHIEVEMENT 4: APPLYING MARKDOWN @ obibless
MY NIGERIA PUFFPUFF
Good afternoon Steemians, it is my pleasure to post my achievement 4 after being verified of my previous achievements. I will like to show my achievement 4, applying markdown via how I made my Nigeria puffpuff. Please don't mind the way I snapped my picture. It was unknown to me I did not snap it well.
Thanks for reading!As a diligent student, I decided to try the Nigeria puffpuff that I was taught by my catering tutor and fortunately for me I have the necessary ingredients needed. Puffpuff is one of the snacks loved by most Nigerians. This snack is actually simple to make and it also requires little ingredients to prepare.
| INGREDIENTS | QUANTITY |

| Flour | 600g |
| Sugar | 150g ( as you desired) |
| Yeast | 1tbs |
| Salt | 1/2 tsp |
| Baking powder | 1/2 tsp |
| Nutmeg | As desired |
METHOD
- Add all the dry ingredients in your bowl and mix well
- Add warm water (not too hot) to the dry mixture bit by bit to form a batter
- Make sure your batter is not too watery nor too thick
- Cover your bowl with a towel or neat white nylon
- Place it where no one will touch or tamper with it for one to two hours for the batter to rise ( for quick rising, you can put it under the sun or anywhere with heat)
- Once you have confirmed that your mixture has risen and doubled in size, take it to your frying spot
- Fry on a medium heat and fry using the deep frying method
- Put your fried puffpuff in a sieve to remove any excess oil
- Eat and enjoy with any drinks of your choice
