Cry of a child

As I move around this world of phantom, I could hear the cry of a child somewhere
Calling for rescue, Calling for help
But his cries never gets to someone
He calls each day and night
but his help never comes.
He sits in his lonely crib and wonder what the problem could be
He looks to his left, he looks to his right but finds none.

I could hear the cry of a young boy calling out help! Help!! Help!!!
All through his life, he never had a mother or a father
An aunt or an uncle
All through his life he has being staying in orphanages
Today he is here and tomorrow he will be there
And never had someone to call a brother or a sister
Each day of his life he lives with the pain of having no one
For how long will we stop given up on our children at birth
For how long will we run away from them
The future holds a bright side for them.

I could hear the cry of a girl somewhere
Calling out help help help
She is been mistreated all the time and have no one to cry to
She does the whole chores of the house but eats once everyday
She has no mouth at home and receives lashes all the time for the wrongs of others
While everyone sleeps, she just stays in the dark and cry all through the night
Sometimes she wonders, if the very ones she stays with are her parents.

For how long will we treat our kids like this,
for how long do we have to love some and hate the others
Even if they have sinned against us, can’t we just forgive them
How long do we have to make them suffer this much
Is it a day, a month, a year, or a decade
The hate and suffering we put them through will only damage their bright future
So let’s man up and treat our children with all the love and care
Let’s give them the joy they need to be good and responsible leaders in the future.
