I will start by answering this question.

WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
According to cambridge dictionary definition of plagiarism, plagiarism is the process or practice of using another person's ideas or work and pretending that it is your own.source

From my definition plagiarism
can be define as stealing someone else work, claiming ownership of author's blog or post.
It can further be defined as the copying and pasting of some else's work, claiming to be the owner without giving the person credit.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM

• Direct Plagiarism: direct plagiarism means copying and pasting someone's work without editing or changing some words.

• Remix Plagiarism: This is the way of copying different persons work,post,blog adding them to form your own post.

• Accidental plagiarism: This means when a person refuses to cite their source or misquote their source. Or accidently create a post that someone else has posted.

• Mosaic Plagiarism: This is the type of plagiarism that occurs when a writer copies different authors post, adding them together to form a post without citing the source.

• Self Plagiarism: This type of plagiarism occurs when a Authors repost his or her own post as a new post without attributes.

HOW CAN YOU AVOID PLAGIARISM

Everyone has the knowledge of bringing up his or her own idea and writes up, all you have to do is to pick your pen and let the ink bleed.

I will list some of the ways we can avoid plagiarism viz;

• Always cite the source the copied text or image.
• Use plagiarism checker tools, etc.
