Small Actions with Huge Power

Often we keep waiting for the big things to happen in our lives to feel the happiness and satisfaction of life, but as it is said "Rome was not built in a Day", also every big action first starts in a small way. No big things happens all of a sudden. It's only when small actions are taken that culminates into big results. We often hear people say "But I am so insignificant, how can I make any difference." If everyone sheds away this type of thinking and takes action, imagine what kind of big movements can be achieved..........
Every big Goal starts with a small idea and from there on with small actions it grows and finally the goal is achieved. Behavioral science says that if you have a big goal to achieve or a big dream that you want to be manifested dedicate a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes in a day working towards that. Keep it in your radar on a daily basis and take some action on it be it however small it would be, and gradually you will see the goal getting accomplished or the dream getting manifested into the form of reality.
Steemit is one big e.g. for us to prove how with small actions we can grow big and achieve our goals. When I started on Steemit I was at 0 and had no idea how my journey would be here but the only thing I knew was that I wanted it to happen and then the journey began with those small steps and consistent actions which finally gave me the success I desired for.
Like wise if you desire for any goal e.g. you may want to loose weight, giving a 15 minutes of your day consistently will give you results rather than you doing everything together on one fine day and expecting the body to shed off those extra Kgs from you. Or you want to buy a house, then those small savings consistently over a period of time will help you buy the house.
Now the most important thing; "Why do I write this Post". There are many Steemians who keep sending me messages saying nothing is happening and they do not feel like continuing on Steemit. While I tell them; Hang on there, keep doing your bit, have your strategies and do not give up. Do not expect people to start voting for you right from day 1, there are 1000s out here and you need to set your foot among all those who have already stabilized. Not an easy task, but not too difficult either. When I check some of their profiles I would see they would make a post once in 8 to 10 days and then expect people to follow them.
Small actions every day will eventually lead you to the desired results, but no action and expectation of a result is like you have a platter of food in front of you and you expect the food to magically get into your mouth.
It is amazing to see how birds build up their Nests. One twig at a time and patiently they would keep flying collecting these single twigs and then putting it up together to make a Nest. Often the Nest will get destroyed by some disturbances but they would not give up, without interruption they would keep going on until the Nest is completely made. But we humans lack patience, dedication, commitment and confidence and hence when things are not moving at our desired pace we give up so easily.
When we understand the power of taking small actions consistently with a vision, it can help change our lives in big ways. Building up on small actions is building up on Confidence, Discipline and Success.

And of course you work hard in between posts, commenting on other people's - it is always the best way to get your own blog seen - the power of engagement is not to be underestimated.
You are certainly a fine example of how to do things correct on here, anyone looking to grow their own followers only need to look at the amount of work you put in keeping in touch with people, and in creating quality posts the people always enjoy reading.

thanks for your encouraging worlds. I normoally quite a strong person but yesterday i cried because i felt like all this steemit stuff isnt worth it. half the time its like slave labour because it take a lot of time and energy to properly engage with the community as well as make your posts. Is it worth it? i dont know atm with the price so low but I hae no alternative as I don't have the time for a regular job, i want to continue with my other projects that a slowly building my future income.
I do understand your concern. Its not at all easy, but all I can say is do not give up and keep writing good content. Also follow a set of people who you see have similar interest. They may not respond in the beginning but if they see you consistently visiting their blogs they too will start responding. Dedicate a little time of your day on daily basis but yes it is important that you also focus on other things. Steemit can be your secondary hobby.
