Our real Competition is.........
All our life we keep competing with others to excel and to prove ourself. At work place we want to be the best employee, at home we want to be the best mother, father, sibling, parent, in our social circle we want to be the most socially accepted. We are always striving for something or the other in life and trying to gain a position for ourself which is well perceived by others. Through which we feel respected in our society, at work place, at home.
But does our best version come by competing with others. There are so many things on a daily basis that we need to defy and overcome and hence I believe that our real competition is with our own self than others.
How many times does our ego come in-between us and our choices, ample of times and with that ego we take wrong decisions. The habit of self-doubt, we have all the capabilities but yet we keep doubting ourselves and limiting our own growth.
Our addictions and bad habits that we need to overcome, it looks the toughest job but yet if we are able to overcome that we will do so much better in life. The unhealthy food choices that we keep making where we do not have control on ourselves is one challenge for us to overcome. Our unhealthy lifestyle which we keep going back to again and again is one of the toughest competitions to deal with our own self.
The knowledge we all about life and yet we ignore, procrastinations, lack of discipline, these are all inner enemies to fight with and conquer. These are some of the toughest challenges to overcome and yet we spend so much time in competing with others outside to gain superficial recognition in life.
If we can challenge all these inner monsters and overcome them that will be the biggest win for us in life rather than competing with other people outside and trying to make a place for self. If we will be able to overcome our own enemies within then outside will never matter because by the time, we have gains success overcoming the internal enemies the outside will not matter at all. There will be a high level of contentment with our own self and not needing anything from the outside to make us feel worthy.
I will like to end here with this beautiful saying
“Never have I dealt with anything more difficult than my own soul.”

If we give up our desire to be true and the best and the greatest, then I think everything in the world will be easy and a source of pride for us but we waste our whole life in showing greatness to others and in life. Get away from the real purpose
So very true, we try to keep proving ourselves to others more than to our ownself.
