Life is Uncertain

An unfortunate incident happened some few days back, where a prominent personality of my community met with a road accident and passed away. There were 4 people in the car, all of them were people of positions. Two people survived and 2 passed away on the spot. One of the lady who was driving the car and survived is a prominent Doctor and a person of repute. After the accident a lot of blame game happened. Definitely these were not some teenage youngsters or those who just wanted to speed to get the thrill or there was no drunk and drive incident also. These were people who would be extra cautious of their driving and speed and still this unfortunate incident had to happen. The prominent personality who passed away his name was Cyrus Mistry. He hold very dignified positions in the Business world and such a fate was least expected for a person like him.

When such incidents happen people normally blame the driver and held them responsible for rash driving, but not always is such a case. These people were all careful drivers, they had no intent of speeding and as I mentioned they were not even careless but still such a fate had to happen with them. The 2 who survived are critical in hospital and fighting for their lives. Life is so uncertain, and what happens the very next moment no one can anticipate. We keep making plans for tomorrow and future life giving less attention to our present. I am not saying we should not plan for the future but our today is as important and more important then tomorrow.

After all every person on this planet has an expiry date. That can be 70, 80, 90 years or less, but that's it, but we work and chase life like we are going to live forever. By the time we realize we become old and then all those fun years of our life are gone worrying about the future and then we run out of energy. Death will come whenever it has to come, it can be this very moment or 5 decades later but the life is happening right now and that should not be missed.

From the moment we are born life starts happening to us, sometimes it is in our control and sometimes it is now, but the best is to keep flowing with life and not try to control it too much. Be it at any age one must stop worrying about the future and live in the present. By the time people get to the age of 60, they suddenly feel they have become old and then there are all subconscious limitations that come up. 16 or 60, one should follow their heart and live their life. We can learn new things also at the age of 16 and 60. There is no limitation to life. It just has to be lived every moment being joyful and grateful to everything that life has to offer. Even if there are dark clouds one must not give up because there is going to be a sunshine for sure after the darkness.
