A Wonderful Parasailing Experience
This was last month and I missed sharing it. It was my long-standing desire to do Parasailing. I had done it once in Goa, but that was long time back and it was a very simple one, it did not go very high and it was just for a couple of minutes. Here in Muscat, we have many water sports and in this time of the year it is best to do these activities. Me and hubby decided to do the Parasailing on one of the weekend mornings. I preferred to do it with him rather than going solo. There were solo options also but I wanted to be with him. I am not scared of heights but I do have water phobia to an extent, before it was lots but now it's not much but still, I do have my heart beats skipping in some moments.
It was such a fabulous experience; I was up in the Air flying and going above the mountains. When you are in an Airplane, you are in a enclosed space so you do not feel it much, but this you are open to Air and you feel every bit of it on you. I have done a Hot Air balloon in past which also takes up but again it's in a basket where you are secured. With this I felt like I was flying with my hands and legs free in the air.
Sharing some pictures from the fun we had. I was a little tight in the beginning but in a few minutes, I was relaxed and was enjoying the views around.

Moving up higher and higher, there are butterflies in my stomach at this stage.
By now I feel relaxed and I am enjoying the height and the views and feeling so free. We are soaring higher and higher, wish I could stay here forever.
We start descending.
After the Parasailing we spent some time in the Sea, the guide was nice, he took as around the islands and gave us some wonderful views around the place.
