A Short trip to Mumbai

2 days back I had to make this sudden plan to travel to Mumbai for a week due to some of the pending house work which had to be attended urgently. Travelling to Mumbai is always a pleasure for me and I am ready to do that any time, but still when the visits are short it gets exhausting for me as a smaller number of days and loads of things to do.

Travelling is comfortable, since it's a morning flight and a short 2.5 hours flight, by 2 I will be home for lunch. Sometimes it does not even feel like I am travelling overseas.

The good thing about travelling at this time is the festival vibe that I will get in the city. The city will be lit up with lights and it will be sparkling all around. Shopping malls will keep up with offers. Though this time I will not have much of leisure time and I will have to focus on finishing the work.

Days times are going to be hectic but night times I can catch up with my friends and have some leisure time. Mumbai night life is best and happening. Something that I miss all the time in Muscat.

The wonderful part about this trip is that my best friend has also come down from London. Her travel was also all of a sudden due to some emergency at her home. We will both meet up and spend some time with each other. Nothing is planned as it all happened all of a sudden at both ends, but just meeting her once in these days will also make me feel happy.

Flight is pretty empty today. Hubby has booked a business class for me as always. He takes care of my comfort all the time. I am already at the boarding gate now and waiting to board the aircraft. Feeling happy and excited to be back home once again even though it's a short stay. See you all tomorrow from Mumbai
