Carnations Are Edible - 407
Shortsegments got me to find this video. Maybe I will buy a carnation at the flower store to try it. I didn't realize so many flowers were "edible".
I don't think we should all be eating flowers but I think it's unfortunate most of our food is pretty limited to the basics like wheat, corn and potatoes and grocery stores typically only sell one or 2 kinds of bananas and other fruits and veggies when there are thousands of varieties.

Maybe he can throw in some insects for a side. A few chocolate covered ants, a side of stir fried beetles or for a more earthy grain a few sauteed worms with a pinch of garlic.
