Lifestyle diary || 7 May 2024 || Big Day Going to Operation Theater

With the name of Allah who is the most beneficent and the most merciful good morning everyone I hope everyone is doing very well.

Today is Tuesday and a very very big day for me because, I found friend who did his MBBS and doing House Job in these days we will come very good friends and he more often go to operation theatre to see the patients.

I have so much curiosity to see the operation theatre because as the student of doctor of physiotherapy we are not allowed to go to operation theatre and the not in our studies we are eligible to go but he was so kind enough that he said he would take me to the operation theatre so that I can observe the patient and enhance my knowledge.

After 2 days of planning he told me that we are going to operation theatre on Tuesday so get ready. Being ready means that I have to wear the operation theatre dress this is a special kind of press that we only wear in hospitals and that represents that we are the students and this differentiate between the senior doctors and us.

Then this is the time we are going to the operation theatre as there is so much strickness and taking pictures is not allow, I meant somehow to take some shorts which I am sharing here. First of all I enter to the room and there is two preparations room in which we have to wear all the essential things that involves the special cover which covers our hair and the plastic shoes that is basically made up of polythene and we have to wear it on our show so that any kind of test from our shoes did not enter to the operation theatre.

After the preparation only enter to another hall in which we have to put our bags and all the things that we are caring of there are so many cupboards and lockers my friend give me the key of her cupboard and I place my bag and water bottle in his cupboard.
After that we are going to the operation theatre my heartbeat is full and I am very excited yet a little has situated.

We enter to the operation theatre hall there are four consecutive rooms in which different operations are going on we check every patient to so I decided to observe the maxillofacial patient he had a fractured on his face from a accident form bike that's why he broken his 2 bones from the face and the suddens are going to repair them with some wires.

This is a very critical operation because it involves the face and the patient took almost 45 minutes first a hall the general anesthesia is given to the patients so that patient was in comma he was not conscious in more after that the surgeon started to cut repair the facial bones, throughout is also the surgeon is investigating the fighters of the patient that he may be fable or not the vitals have to be stable and nothing drop down so that we can see the patient is the life and we are doing a good job after the 40 minutes on the process the operation is successful and I am very amaze to watch this whole scenario because this is my first time visiting and operation theatre and observing the patient this much closely.

After this, I came home at 5:00 p.m. I was very tired because today was a hectic day I did two different tasks at two different places then I drank tea at home and after that, I went to sleep at 7:00 p.m. because I was very very tired.
