How does Cryptography works? Let's understand:

Before proceeding to discuss about how does Cryptography works? We must understand some common and basic words which is use in Cryptography so let's understand those words :

Plain Text: This is normal message in plain text which is send and receive and it can be in any language.

Cipher Text: This is text which is unreasonable and no one can read. It is in code language or in binary language. It is form of encryption of your plain text. We mean is that after encryption, when our plain text gets change into code text so that code text is called cipher text.

Encryption: The Process which we use to change plain text into cipher text, that's called Encryption process. It helps to maintain privacy and secure your data during sharing process.

Decryption: It is reverse process of encryption. In this process, our cipher text gets change back into plain text. This process is just encoding and decoding process. There is main difference in this encryption and decryption process is that we use secret key in this process.

Key: We can say this is main part of Cryptography. It is use in encryption and decryption process. It is like specific code or specific number which is use to encrypt data or decrypt data. It is super secret key. It is very important in Cryptography. It is impossible of encryption protocol process without security key and due to this your data would be at risk.

Cryptography mainly follows 2 type of algorithms: Encryption in which data or plain text gets change into code text means cipher text and second algorithm is decryption where cipher text will get change back into plain text for normal reading. We use secret key to encrypt and decrypt details of data to make it secure.

The process of Cryptography gets start from sender side. Sender has some information and wants to send this information to someone else which is called receiver. Now sender want to send their personal details and data to receiver without any interruption. No one can access his data during or after sending except receiver. For this, Sender needs secure connection and Cryptography is process who offers this secure connection.

First of Cryptography change your plain text into cipher text. This process is called Encryption protocol process and receiver will not receive message until this process will not be finish, now decryption process will start so reciever will get readable text. In this process we use security key as like password which plays major role.
