Do I have the balls?
I've been postponing this post for a couple of weeks now.
My husband has gone crazy with Steemit and wanted me to start as well. He helped me to create my account and I promised to give Steemit a go. But for some reason it´s been very difficult to get started. Why?
I think it's because of two things. First one is fear and the second laziness. Two of my worst enemies. When it comes to Steemit the biggest fear is judgment. What if someone comes and says that what I write is crap? Or if my english is not good enough and I will look stupid. Always afraid of what other people think. Smart right?
And then laziness. Oh how easy it is to say I don't have time. No one does. Ever. And yes, I have a 9 month old girl who keeps me very busy and it's hard to find time for my own thoughts but I've also realized how important it is. So I will just take the time.
My posts will be like my diary. Quite personal. They are about my life: the weird, painful and special trip of becoming a mom, being a mom of one (momone) and a wife, sister, child, godmother, and a 35 year old woman from up North. Seriously; North. It's June and the temperatures have averaged +10. Love Finland. Still.
Anyway. I decided that I have the balls to do this, so here we go. I hope you can enjoy some of this. I know I will.

I'm just like your husband and my relatives probably hate me for it. Being so enthusiastic about crypto when no one has barely heard of it is the burden we have to carry, hah.
We are the mad hatters of the world currently!
I also understand the laziness part, Steemit.com is more aimed to bloggers and not everyone is one. However, in near future, there will be services like Twitter, Youtube and Instagram built using the same Steem technology.
That means everyone can be part of this movement, dare I say, in their own way! Zuckerberg never gave me a penny, so I might just as well pack my bags and use alternatives, where I can get a share, however small it may be, for my efforts as we all are going to use social media in one way or another through our lives.
I think in the future other platforms have to change their attitude to keep up with Steemit. Thanks for taking the time.

Haha, yea I think it's a unique experience when your wife or husband transitions a full marriage onto the website =D
It's a little scary to join something new, right? But you are in a great place. Steem is wonderful and right now we're seeing a ton of growth - which is made better by the fact that post quality seems to be going UP as traffic increases.
