Architecture in Austria / Loisium
In bright sunshine, the façade made of 680 aluminium panels from the Loisium wine world in Langenlois is very exciting, as the reflections, light and shadow effects stand out particularly strongly.

The New York architect Steve Holl mainly uses materials such as cork or glass, which are associated with wine, in the interior of the building. The windows represent the floor plan of the old cellar vault.

Der New Yorker Architekt Steve Holl verwendet im Inneren des Gebäudes großteils Materialien, wie Kork oder Glas, die mit Wein assoziiert werden. Die Fenster stellen den Grundriss des alten Kellergewölbes dar.

Langenlois ist auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert, neben vielen Weinbauern gibt es auch einige Kulturveranstaltungen-, Festivals und Museen.

It is interesting indeed. The small town was not known before the Loisium was built... Architects call it the Bilbao effect...
Ich lese immer zu schnell und have Australia instead of Austria gelesen. Erst dachte ich dass es ein bisschen gefaehrlich is so ein Gebaeude in der knallended Sonne zu haben LOL
