No one ever really dies, they just go through some terrestrial disbalance till their souls are called for.

The evil spirits we pray against are the dead people that were evil when they were unwoken. They are called Dantimonos.

The good ones are the good people that were once unwoken too, they are called Antimonos.

They all roam about, the good one's hang around more with the unwoken they loved looking to seek happiness for the ones they left behind.

The bad ones go lurking around for new places, new catastrophe, forcefully...They are called Cantimonos.

There are some spirits that are neutral, the onetime unwoken who were neither good nor bad all their life they are called the Bantimonos, they are very common among us, they lurk around any unwoken that fascinates them, they are responsible for helping in transferring messages between the unwoken who have their souls inter-connected, the kind of connection that exists between lover's, mother to a child, a friend to a friend...a man to his god...of course they are very capable of much more, but at a very costly price?

It was a very sunny Friday after Padre hour, I asked Semila to hold my Bible as I hurried up to the bathroom to ease myself.

Definitely that was an excuse, I just needed a little time to admire the white stone Semila had warned me earlier to drop because I picked it from the graveyard during his grand mother's burial.

I dipped my hand in my right pocket as soon as I got into the bathroom to have a feel of my newly found antique, a rare white stone, about half the size of a tennis ball, it looked so fascinating and lustrous, fortune, my mind told me,who cares where it was found?!

I really did not know why Semila wanted me to drop the stone so bad, maybe he was jealous or maybe because of course he did not have my eyes.

I heard a lady shout from the other side of the bathroom, I was startled, apparently, there was a man in the ladies,fixing a sink. Happens all the time. So I went ahead with my business.

Then I heard another shout this one was so deafening and prolonged, it was close and very high pitched, like it was right behind my ear's, it was painful too.

I forcefully squatted and shut my eyes. I lost all sense of composure, for that moment I had no sense of who I was or where I was. Suddenly there was a deafening silence, I was on the floor I could feel my pulse like it was amplified into a speaker as my arteries contracted and expanded.

The only thing my mind could think of and my hand could find was my phone. For that moment I needed assurance that I was alive and still on earth so I tried to punch in my password on the screen of my phone as I was still squinting from the sharp pain I felt in my ear.

I caught a glimpse of the time, it was 9:00pm and Padre hour ended at 12noon, this was when the real panic began for me. With the little energy I had, staggering and trying to find my feet I got myself back up.

And I caught a glimpse of a figure as my eyes met the mirror. It was the strangest sight my eyes have ever beheld.

That was the first day I saw Wakeem, a Bantimonos. And my life never remained the same.
