Seven Prayer for Natural Disaster Victims.

When our brothers and sisters are affected by natural disasters, we may not be able to directly help them. However, as believers, we certainly know that one of the efforts we can give is through prayer support.

To the victims of natural disasters, we remember you, and mention your name in our prayers. Let us pray for the following seven things to the Lord for those who are victims of natural disasters.

1. Pray for peace.

The disciples of Jesus were frightened when the boat they were traveling in was hit by a storm. They forget that in the boat there is also Jesus, the One who has the power to overcome the storm. Just like Jesus' disciples, we often as human beings focus more on storms than before God who actually controls the storm. Therefore, let us pray that the victims of the disaster are not overcome by fear, but surrounded by peace.

Father, we pray that the victims of natural disasters can be comforted. Let your peace that transcends all reason may wipe out their fear and make them rely on Your help only.

1. Pray for sufficiency

Natural disasters often cause the victims to lose their possessions and resources. It can be imagined how difficult it would be if we had to live without supplies of clothing, food, and boards. Therefore, let's pray that God can meet the needs of the victims of the disaster.

Father, we pray that the victims of the disaster can be fulfilled their needs. You understand and certainly provide what they really need. Let them not worry about what they want to eat, drink, or use. However, let them fully trust you that You really care about them.

1. Pray for reinforcements

The victims of natural disasters need others. They need medical teams to deal with physical injuries, SAR teams to rescue trapped people, as well as security guards to ensure they get the right shelter. Let's pray that God can help those in charge.

Father, we pray that You will help those who are given the responsibility to ensure the safety of the disaster victims. Give them protection from distress and courage to help the victims.

1. Pray for wisdom

When disaster strikes, the people there must be able to make decisions quickly and accurately. Where will the evacuation take place? Where should the victims be evacuated? Where to bring the injured victims? Etc. Therefore let us pray that the rescue team can make decisions quickly and accurately.

Father, we pray that the victims and the rescue team are given the wisdom and courage to save those who are trapped in danger. Give them strength and protection.

1. Pray for a heart that will believe

Disasters that occur not infrequently incised physical and psychological wounds to the victims. In addition to losing property, they may lose their relatives or loved ones. Therefore, let us pray that in these difficult times they will be able to trust God and His good design.

Father, we pray that those who have lost loved ones can be strengthened and strengthened. Help them to see the good intentions that You designed behind the disaster that is now befalling them.

After the disaster occurs, the victims must return to walk the path of his life. Of all the injuries and destruction that natural disasters leave behind, they must rise to order their lives as before.

Father, we pray that You may restore their lives by giving joy that was lost in disaster. We believe You can fulfill what they need, whether it is a place to live, clothes, food, and of course peace of mind.

1. Pray for protection

"God is for us a place of refuge and strength, as a helper in distress is very evident. Therefore we will not be afraid, even if the earth changes, when the mountains are shaken in the sea. even though the noise and the foaming of its waters, even the mountains of the rocks, "(Psalm 46: 2-4). Like the psalmist who praises God for His protection, let us also pray that disaster victims can lean back and take full refuge in God.

Father, we pray that You may be a strong refuge, and the only source of help is when trouble strikes. Let them know You personally so they know that You are always there for them.
