It's a Saturday and still, it's my birth month. I decided to bring my daughter and some family members to a Korean buffet since I was not able to hold a party on my birthday. I heard about a new affordable Korean restaurant that offered buffet in the nearby city of Tacloban, I saw ads about it all over Facebook. What was making me want to check it out was the cheap price of their buffet. At 199 ($4) per person, you can have unlimited pork, unlimited rice and unlimited iced tea. This is so far the cheapest buffet I have ever heard of. I was curious if the place would impress me or disappoint.

We just settled to have the 199 pesos per head. We are not really a bunch of heavy eaters.

We went there around 4pm. The restaurant is facing the West so you could see the glare from the sun on our table, their glass wall was tinted but still the light was overpowering. I hope they do something about that, like, put some blinds or curtain or something to block the rays.

They gave us the grill, a thong and a pair of scissors.

These are the unlimited items for us to take. All of it is pork, plain and flavored.

There is rice and kimchi rice.

This was my favorite flavor, Curry Zest.

A cousine of mine volunteered to do the cooking.

I got some plain rice, kimchi rice and kimchi. I got us some iced tea, too.

I ordered some lettuce. I don't know how to eat Samgyupsal but they say you just wrap everything in lettuce and eat them.

We were grilling everything at the same time, plus the corns.

The server told us these soft buns called siopao was part of the 199 buffets so we got some. These were really good.

That's me trying to eat like a Korean but no one ever told me how, really. I just think this is what they mean when they say wrap everything then eat it. I loved how it felt and tasted in my mouth, I thought I was doing something right.

We were not given a receipt and I was preoccupied to ask for it. They however, marked our arms with P199. So, here it is with my Steem Silver round on the side. That is how much we paid per head for the buffet, no more, no less. This is the most affordable buffet in the region.

As a conclusion, the place did not disappoint me, it gave us more than our money's worth. The food was good. The place was okay. What can sell this place to others is their good location, they have a huge parking lot infront of the building. It's a rectangular commercial complex and everything in the middle is a parking lot. You can pretty much tell if the restaurant is crowded or not because of the number of cars outside.

This place is a must-visit for those who want to save and try Korean food. This is ideal for families and other groups that want to make the most of their money.
