Rainy days
A view through the car windshield. Temperatures are supposed to be near 90F/32C so I am expecting it is going to be a bit humid this weekend. Summer has arrived!

We are getting much more than we need! The river is in flood stage, but everything is wonderfully green and lush!
Oh no don't need that flood stuff going on.It hit close to home this year when the might Grand River went over its banks.It did a lot of damage in Brantford. Now the east coast is getting flooding the water seems to be rising.
The one plus about flooding (no damage here yet) is that there is a no wake warning on the river, so I don't have to spend the weekend listening to jet skis and too big speed boats racing up and down the river!

Summer has arrived here too!!! Hot, humid.....remember we said we would not have springtime but we'd go from winter to summer, from furnace to air conditioning??? It's time!!!!

Yes, summer is here. I don't use much air conditioning, as my house is so shaded that it stays perfectly cool in here, but I did turn it on for a bit last night just to remove some of the humidity and to be certain that it is working after not being used all winter. I'm ready for summer!

Yeah I think it might get worse. Hope the rainy season comes soon. We'll think about the flood when it comes.
